My Family, Mental Illness… and Me series 2 is the continuation of Our Time’s ground breaking podcast exploring what it’s like growing up in a family where a parent has a mental illness. Each episode features an intimate, one-on-one discussion with someone in the public eye who has or had a parent with a mental illness, or mental health difficulties. Interviews are once again hosted by Dr Pamela Jenkins, whose own experiences growing up include a mother who had schizoaffective disorder. Mya-Rose Craig, also known as Birdgirl, is a British-Bangladeshi ornithologist, author, campaigner for equal rights and author of the book ‘Birdgirl’.
