No Man's Sky | Public Service Request! | The Most Important Thing To NOT Do! Today we have a short video with a Public Service Request. The most important thing most players never think about is pressing the Upload Base button on their Base Computer. This normally doesn't present any problems in places one might have found all on their own, but in a Community Discovery Star System this can be a huge problem. Sadly, player bases are one of the game limits within a star system. After a certain base limit is reached, no other player bases can be shown in the star system to other players. When the entire point of sharing a specific discovery with other players is that they are able to reach that discovery themselves, even bases that players design to provide helpful resources are actually a detriment to finding the discovery. As an example, we are in the star system we showed off last week with all the Traveller Graves you would need for your Portal Glyphs marked with a base computer. Many players have told me they can not see all the bases needed to get all their glyphs, thanks to there being too many other bases in the system not related to Glyphs. This star system does still work, there are all the bases marked, but you might need to try various workaround and suffer extra hardship thanks to bases clogging the list. We even show that a new Expedition save can see these graves and bases, but not everyone has this luck. While this is less of a Tips & Tricks video, hopefully you learned a bit and can heed the Public Service Request. Please do not upload your bases in a star system shared for a specific discovery!
