Makapu'u Tide Pools - Why is this my favorite place in East Oahu?

This beautiful scenic place is only about a 45 minute hike from the Makapu'u Lighthouse parking lot. Watch the video to see where the trailhead starts! Going down the cliff is no problem. Going back up is where you get the heart racing and a full leg workout. :) This place has it all beauty, tranquility, power, and adventure. Also remember, always watch the ocean 🌊 there may be rogue waves. Rule of thumb is never turn your back to the ocean especially near the edge. Other than that, have fun! I really enjoyed this place!
