Lake district walk from Sykeside campsite, Brotherswater. This walk was compiled as I could see a roaring waterfall from the campsite and we had to take a look. The route takes us from the bottom of Caudale Beck, up to the first waterfall then back down over a bridge to the road headed towards Kirkstone pass. After a very short walk up the road, we cross over to a gate and signpost for a footpath to Scandale Pass. This path follows Caiston Beck between Middle Dodd and High Hartsop Dodd. The route took us past more amazing waterfalls. Following up the valley we crossed the beck near the top, where we turned back due to bad weather, and returned to the campsite via the ancient settlement and Hartsop Hall. Enjoy. Thanks
