There are different combinations you can do for a base liquid, but this gives you a good starting point when you want to create a room or body spray in no time. This formula was inspired by Poo Pourri, a genius product formulated to neutralize bad odors in the bathroom. You spritz it in the toilet bowl before you go then again after you flush. And this formula is as close as it comes to the original product. All you need is a four ounce spray bottle, pour in 3.5 ounces of vodka and then add the essential oil blend which consists of 30 drops lemon, 15 drops bergamot, 20 drops orange, and 5 drops of cinnamon. Spray a few times, directly in the toilet bowl before use and after flushing. Instead of using scented candles that often contain toxic ingredients, craft your unique and personalized room mist. All you need is the base of vodka, alcohol, or water. And add seventy drops of your favorite essential oil or blend of essential oils. Spritz a few times around your room and enjoy the nice scent. For a very simple insect repellent, first add 3.5 oz of water to a spray bottle. And this body spray uses water instead of vodka or alcohol as a base because not everyone may feel comfortable having alcohol or vodka sprayed on their body. And you can also add half a teaspoon of glycerin, which is a nice humectant that helps retain moisture on your skin. And now add the essential oils blend: 30 drops lavender, 20 drops rosemary, 10 drops geranium, and 5 drops lemongrass. And since oil and water don't mix, the drops of essential oils will simply float on the water. So be sure to shake it before every use. Spray on exposed skin or mist over clothes and the essential oil scent will repel most insects.
