But, top notch protection is only the beginning with this versatile case. Once you have decided where you need to set up, the heavy duty casters glide the case into position. Lock down the caster brakes, and begin transforming your compact transport case into a fully operable mixing desk. Release the upper latches to take off the top cover. Then after releasing the lower latches, carefully place the lower housing on a safe surface. Next, latch the top cover to the base. Lastly, carefully set the mixing board housing onto the top cover. When it is rested squarely, secure the latches to the top cover, and get ready to run some sound. The modular design puts your board at a comfortable operating height, and the lower section provides storage for side panels and accessories. The deep channel aluminum valances ensure a snug seal for protection from the elements, and the heavy duty plated hardware will be up to the challenges of the daily rigors of touring. This fantastic transport case is designed with a 14 rack space slanted top section for mixing consoles. Down below, the recessed vertical 6U rack space is perfect for effects processors, powers amps, or any of Gators rack accessories.
