This is how I make encaustic medium ready to add colour. I make a lot of my own art supplies and making encaustic medium is by far the easiest art supply to make. Making your own encaustic wax medium is also very cost-effective and will save you money compared to a brand like R&F encaustic medium. Encaustic medium is made of only 2 ingredients. Bleached Beeswax and Damar Resin.
