MDStormandin - "Total Eclipse" by Iron Maiden (drum cover)

On Monday, April 8, 2024, there was a total solar eclipse happening in North America. In recognition of this rare event, I felt compelled to pay tribute to one of my all time favorite drummers, Clive Burr, by playing along to this classic Iron Maiden "B-Side" track called, 'Total Eclipse'. In addition to his masterful drumming, Clive was also one of the co-writers of this incredible song, along with Steve Harris and Dave Murray. 'Total Eclipse' was originally recorded by Iron Maiden during the 1982 "The Number of the Beast" recording sessions, but it never made the final album track listing. It did become available on later album releases as a bonus track, and was also featured as Side B of the infamous "Run to the Hills" 7" single release. This 2024 video is dedicated to the timeless memory and spirit of Clive Burr. Clive has influenced and inspired countless drummers around the globe, I am honored and humbled to have been one of them.
