Threat Narrative: Stu's Usefulness to Sally

If Stu is killed, Sally's a victim of "gender violence" because she loses his utility! At least according to Doris Buss' analysis of the Bosnian genocide. She asserts that women were subject to "gender based violence" because of what was, essentially, fallout from the Serbs killing all the men in the community. To understand the absurdity of this, let's imagine we live in a world in which Donald Buss is a masculinist researcher into the Bosnian Genocide. Mr. Buss writes an article about how the muslim men were subject to "gendered violence" because all the women were selectively targeted for murder and, afterwards, the men had to do things they'd never done before themselves. Alternatively, it'd be like saying a gunman who pushed a woman out of the way so he could shoot a man in the head was inflicting "gendered violence" on the woman by pushing her out of the way. Or if the shooter killed the woman's husband, that's "gendered violence" against the woman because she lost out on his income.
