In this video I was diagnosing my car to see if one of my wheel bearings had gone bad, this video was created before my " Late to work POV" video, I just never uploaded it is all. Turns out my right front wheel bearing had gone completely, at 680 a pop they ain't cheap, and sadly the 04's are known for having wheel bearings go out a lot, this is the 2nd one this year... I think 5th one overall...... they tend to go a lot more if you're putting the brakes through lots of high heat cycles, like a lot of 160mph to 80mph stops, etc...... Update - As of right now my car is currently in the shop and getting ANOTHER engine rebuild my piston went sideways through my block at 110mph... and the valve and piston got married essentially, a whole new long block is now getting built, with a 2.5xtr turbo coming soon now too. However because of that, I have decided to upload some of the older footage I just haven't posted yet since the Subaru is for the moment out of commission. I recently had shifter bushings replaced which has now made the shifter vibrate rather excessively. You may also sometimes see me holding the car in gear in the higher RPMs like around 5500rpm to 6000 plus rpm and not yet shifting during a pull, I do that because at light throttle at high RPMs or when you let off the gas the car burbles quite a lot, in the video, for some reason you guys can’t hear it but if you’re sitting in the car you can definitely hear it. I'll be sure to make videos of the exhaust setup so you guys can get a better idea.
