Fat Man, Tiny Bike, Hits the NC500 ! NC500 on a YB100cc Day 11 - so although we were back into relative normality there was still beautiful scenery through Dumfries and Galloway, and skirting the Lake District and the novel route that WAZE chose to take me through the fringes of the beautiful Forest of Bowland. On arrival at the hotel in Preston it was boiling hot - and my room was like an oven. Fan does nothing, no AC and the hotel likes to save us from suicide by limiting the windows only to open 2 inches!! DUH ! Anyway nice evening in Preston, nice burger and a few pints, thinking over my strategy for my return home in excessive heat... Visiting Gretna Green was interesting and the little town of Annan was nice.
