JIS would like to thank renowned Indonesian artist Darbotz for sharing his incomparable talent in graffiti art with our Middle School and High School students.From his insight and philosophy on “tagging," we learned that graffiti has evolved over the years to become a form of expression and social commentary conveyed through spray-painting designs. As it happens, JIS students inspired Darbotz to pick up the urban art form nearly two decades ago.
