Dr. Tamala Malerk got her Ph.D. in History from the University of South Florida, where she taught Global History Since 1750 for five semesters. She moved to Germany and has worked in travel and lifestyle journalism for over two years, utilizing the research and writing skills she cultivated when working on her degree. She has written book reviews for the University of Marine Corps History H-War, Women of Judaism, and H-Empire. She is also a book review editor for H-Albion, H-Net’s network for the History of Britain and Ireland.
