Radish Curry

Radish Curry Servings - 4 INGREDIENTS Radish - 350 grams Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon Salt - 1/2 teaspoon Gram flour - 2 tablespoons Mustard oil - 1 1/2 tablespoons Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Coriander seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns - 1/4 teaspoon Ginger - 2 teaspoons Garlic - 2 teaspoons Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon Water - 60 milliliters Mustard oil - 2 tablespoons Carom seeds - 1/4 teaspoon Water - 70 milliliters Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Water - 100 milliliters Green chili - 1 teaspoon Dry mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon Coriander - 1 1/2 tablespoons Coriander - for garnishing PREPARATION 1. On a board, place 350 grams radish and cut it into pieces. 2. Now, prick it with the help of fork and transfer this into a bowl. 3. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons gram flour, 1 1/2 tablespoons mustard oil and mix it well. Keep aside. 4. Take a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds, 14 teaspoon black peppercorns and dry roast for 3 - 4 minutes. 5. Remove it form heat and transfer this into a muddler. 6. Now, muddle them with the help of muddler. 7. Add 2 teaspoons ginger, 2 teaspoons garlic, 1/2 teaspoon paprika and muddle them with the help of muddler. 8. Add 60 milliliters water and muddle them with the help of muddler. 9. Heat 2 tablespoons mustard oil in heavy skillet, add 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds and stir well. 10. Add crushed mixture and cook for 1 minute. 11. Add 70 milliliters water and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. 12. Add marinated radish and cook for 2 - 3 minutes. 13. Add 100 milliliters water and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. 14. Cover it with lid and cook for 8 - 10 minutes. 15. Open the lid and stir well. 16. Add 1 teaspoon green chili, 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder, 1 1/2 tablespoons coriander and cook for 1 - 2 minutes.
