This is the fifth video in what I hope turns into a long standing series on this channel called Aircrafts Dissected, where I plan to delve into every single switch, knob and light in the aircraft and properly explain their function. This video takes a look at the Zibo mod 737-800 aircraft and specifically focuses on the 'mode control panel' or 'MCP' . We navigate through the panels and cover all of the important buttons and indications such as the main autopilot systems, autothrottle systems and other important controls such as speed, altitude, heading and vertical speed. The next video will focus on the miscellaneous buttons and levers located in front of the pilots, where we'll take a look at things such as the landing gear lever, the upper and lower display units and so on.
