Gary Phillips has a BS in Chemical Engineering and currently works as Principal Project Manager at Sanofi Genzyme. He is an avid home gardener and deeply concerned about saving native plants and our pollinators. Gary will be speaking on the topic of “Seed collecting, cleaning, and packaging”, which is the process of gathering and storing seeds for propagating native plants. Gary is a proponent of the use of native plants in the landscape, common areas and our home gardens. He is a member of the Watson Park Pollination Preservation group, whose members reclaimed the abandoned pollination garden on Lyman Street in Northborough, and installed an adjacent native plant meadow in 2022. He is also volunteering with the Southborough and Worcester native plant groups.
