Walking barefoot to Scolt Head Island (grounding and wild swimming North Norfolk) 🧜‍♀️

Join me as a I explore barefoot, wading across the channels and sliding through mud as I walk across to Scolt Head Island nature reserve. This was such a grounding experience and the first time I have walked barefoot for several hours. It felt so different and I really felt an extra connection to the landscape I was walking through. First there was rain, and in the end there was miraculous sunshine and a beautiful sea pool for wild swimming. As the sun set over the salt flats I felt like I’d experienced the whole gamut of emotions, weather, and the changing faces of the salt flats. This was my first time in North Norfolk and the desolate, eerie beauty and weather was endlessly appealing.
