Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort is a hotel, casino, and resort located on the banks of the Colorado River. It was founded by Don Laughlin who bought the southern tip of Nevada in 1964 to open a casino resort with the advantages of the river. Built and opened in 1966, the Riverside Resort has over 1,400 guest rooms and its casino has about 90,000 square feet of gaming space. Features in the resort includes a classic car museum, six-screen movie theater, a full-service RV park, its own yacht called the USS Riverside, and a bowling center. Don Laughlin's Classic Car Museum is located inside Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. The museum features antiques, classic vehicles, and special-interest automobiles housed in two separate areas at the resort, along with privately owned vehicles that are for sale on consignment. The classic car museum is open seven days a week and the admission fee is only $3.00 per person.
