5 Agritech Startups Accelerating the Growth of SmallHolder Farmers | Cisco India CSR x Social Alpha

A vast majority of Indian farmers are facing problems of poor production and returns. With traditional agri-practices failing to achieve desired results, small-holder farmers need to adopt cost-effective technologies that also ensure environmental protection. In partnership with Cisco India CSR, we have selected five high-impact start-ups to be part of Krishi Mangal -- a scale-up accelerator program to support Agritech enterprises working on tech solutions for smallholder farmers. Congratulations to the selected startups: TraceX Technologies, co-founded by Srivatsa TS and Anil Nadig; Jalkeevika Infotech, co-founded by Neelkanth Mishra, Ranjit Ambastha and Devanand Londhe; Pashu Bajaar, founded by Sanjeev Kumar; Tan90, co-founded by Soumalya Mukherjee, Shiv Sharme and Rajani Kant Rai, and Satyukt Analytics, founded by Yukti Gill and Dr. Sat Kumar Tomer Focused on income increase, job-creation and promoting micro-entrepreneurship along the agriculture and its allied value chain, these startups can herald a new chapter in Indian agriculture with profound impact on the lives and livelihoods of the vulnerable stakeholders in the agri ecosystem.
