http://www.exploringtraditions.com/ Celestial Sanctum Invocation with H. Spencer Lewis in San Jose, California in the 1930's. Most people don't know this by H. Spencer Lewis was a charter member of Dr. De Forrest's Radio League. Both he and his son (Ralph M. Lewis) were involved in radio many years before coming to San Jose, California. The Rosicrucian Order had a successful broadcast radio station for the short time they were headquartered in Tampa, Florida. They planned one for San Jose, but were unable to obtain a license because the airways were already saturated. They settled for a short wave radio station and the was in full operation until around H. Spencer Lewis's death in 1936. The radio towers were local landmarks into the 1950's when one was moved to Dinah's Shack Restaurant (now known as Dinah's Garden Hotel) on El Camino in Palo Alto and the other to a location near McKee and Highway 101.
