Beware, horror content creators... [REC] Paroxysm | from Perspektik

Evil places harbor dark consequences. We are a horror content creator, and for our channel, we head to the scariest places and record our findings for the public. But this time was different. This place was scarier than the rest…people were actually evacuated because of what was happening. So being the bold creator that we are, we make our way to this neighborhood. The primary location in question is an apartment building. Flat number 10 to be exact. We arrive and get straight to work, recording everything we see. Once we enter the apartment, we take out our gear--a motion sensor and an EMF reader. Our first task is to find a Level 5 anomaly using the EMF reader. This is when the fun begins. Once we find the Level 5 anomaly, the power goes out. We restore the power and return to the spot where the reader spiked. Now it’s time to perform the summoning ritual. Which is never a good idea, but we’re doing this for the views. This opens up a world of hurt, introducing evil visions and physical apparitions onto our path. We eventually get a clue on the television—toilet+skull=key. I’m a blind idiot, and it takes me a minute to find the bathroom. But we do and we get the key. It opens up a door on the TV stand, and we get a flashlight! One of the best tools in any dark situation. With our flashlight, we’re able to see into a room where the lightbulb shattered. We find a locked cabinet, so now we’re on the hunt for another key. After some more haunting visions and a sweet short chase, we find the key. We unlock the cabinet and find a hammer and a note. The note is brutal…it’s a sort of confession, stating that the person who wrote the note put a woman in the wall. With his own hands…didn’t we hear the screams? If we want to find her, we have to listen carefully. We enter a room where one of the walls is battered and decrepit. We use the hammer to break the wall, and sadly, horrifically, we find a dead woman. She was stuffed into the wall, bent in half, with a note hung up in front of her. The haunting passage states: “If this note falls into someone’s hands, let them know that they have not freed the woman's spirit. Instead, they have cursed her soul upon themselves. Now her nightmare will be your reality. There is no escape.” The front door flings open and we’re allowed to leave. But we do not leave alone…we now understand what true fear is. We are pushed to the brink of losing our sanity. And the only way out, is unspeakable… YES, this was goooood. I’m so glad the developer hit me up and I was able to play this gem of a game. I got scared more times than I can remember, hopefully you had a good time. I loved every moment of it.
