Check that BlackHole was installed properly by opening Audio Midi Setup - Type "Audio Midi Setup" into launchpad and open - Make sure you see BlackHole as an audio device 4. Close and re-open MainStage 5. Set the audio output of MainStage to BlackHole 6. Open your DAW 7. Set the audio device/audio input of your DAW to BlackHole 8. Arm your tracks with Input 1/Input 2 of BlackHole Tutorial (Part 2): 1. Re-open Audio Midi Setup 2. Create an aggregate device, check BlackHole and your audio interface (Focusrite for me) 3. Re-open your DAW 4. Set the audio device/audio input of your DAW to Aggregate Device 5. Arm your tracks with the correct inputs of the Aggregate Device (ex. for me, my mic is plugged into channel 1 of the Focusrite, which is channel 17 of the Aggregate Device; channel 1 and 2 of Aggregate Device is still MainStage) 6. Make sure your outputs are what you want them to be (ex. for me, I want the output to come out of my Focusrite, so I create a new send to output 17 and 18 of Aggregate Device, which is Focusrite)
