Going The Extra Tile | Tile Cities (City Builder Puzzle Game)

Tile Cities is a minimalist city building puzzle game, where we have to fit city tiles of various shapes together to build ourselves a sprawling urban area, complete with homes, parks and tea shops! OK we sort of made up the tea shops but everything else is there. As we place down tiles we have to make sure that we manage demand for various services, which are very simply represented by four colours. Each tile we place increases demand by one for each colour but some tiles have special buildings on them that help reduce the demand of that specific colour. When we add tiles adjacent to others with special buildings on we can reduce demand further, plus there are tramlines for us to manage as we build our city, so we have to try to place down tiles in the right place to ensure our tram lines are connected up and are also connected to tram stations. It's a wonderfully simple game in execution but a challenging one to master, and it looks wonderful too as we build up our city tile by tile.
