Cabina Nights documents some of the live musical events taking place in "El Cabina" space in downtown Alexandria, Egypt. El Cabina is one of Gudran Association for Art and Development's projects. In 2010, with generous support from" Enosis Company for Catering Management " in Alexandria. We began working on a nearly demolished and deserted building that used to be the Cabin for air condition engines of Cinema Rialto; one of the oldest cinemas in downtown Alexandria, to turn it into a small cultural center with two main parts: a public library where cultural discussions, seminars and meetings are held as well as film screenings and certain small theatrical and musical performances; the second part is a jamming room for underground music bands to make rehearsals, recordings and sometimes small concerts.
