Chimichurri Marinated Tri-Tip with Fries 🥩 🌿 🍟 🔥 Throwback to when I cooked some Chimichurri Tri-Tip in the fire pit with some fries and extra chimichurri on the side. This has become a go-to recipe for me when cooking for friends, and I might be doing it this weekend at a big event! Marinated this fat-cap-on tri-tip over night in homemade chimichurri. Grilled over the fire pit for about 1.5 hours to slowly cook it till it hit about 130F. I flipped it often so I could get an even crust! Cooked up some fries in my cast iron in peanut oil then seasoned them with salt garlic pepper from Spiceology. Slice it up on my cutting board , topped the fries with the steak and topped the steak with more chimichurri. This is a Wolfpack favorite for sure! 👍 🔥 Ingredients Steak: 1 fat cap on tri-tip. Chimichurri Marinade: 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 3 tbsp of red wine vinegar, 5-6 chopped garlic cloves, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp of red chili flakes and 3 tbsp of olive oil.
