Got the new Apple M1 Mac mini as a Christmas gift recently and so far it's been blowing my mind with it's superb performance. Over the last 2 weeks, I have throned everything at the mini like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Affinity Photos, browsing the website with lots of tags open and the device takes it like a champ with no sound from the internal fan or even it getting warm.
