You can get to and from the Isle of Skye without getting on a ferry via the Skye bridge, but we always love to hop on this ferry crossing as it provides a chance to see our favourite orca duo 'John Coe and Aquarius' who we have seen previously in this exact location that the ferry crosses through. The ferry leaves from Armadale which is located on the south west coast of Skye and takes you across to Mallaig which is around 45 minutes to an hour long.
