Flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rains in Nepal over the weekend have claimed 200 lives, with 29 people still missing. Kathmandu was severely impacted, with large parts of the city submerged. A landslide near a blocked highway 16 km from the capital buried several vehicles, killing dozens. Highways out of Kathmandu remain blocked, though workers have temporarily cleared the Prithvi Highway.
