The Electric Train was a garage rock band from San Francisco, California that was active in the mid 1960s. It appears that the group didn’t release any records during their existence, however they did record at least two songs, Try Harder/ Through Winter & Sunshine, in 1966 that were shelved as an acetate. In 1977 Moxie Records released both songs on a 33 1/3 vinyl, seven inch record. Thank you Moxie Records for saving these rare tracks! … I’ve also seen two of The Electric Trains concert gig posters, one where they played at the Avalon Ballroom with Big Brother and The Holding Company and another where they played at The California Hall with the Charlatans.
