Duck shooting at the very well known Cefngwyn Hall in West Wales UK, this was a 300 bird day with 9 guns. The conditions were far from ideal for shooting as there wasn’t a breath of wind so most of the morning the birds weren’t flying was well as they usually do here, however there were still plenty to shoot at which was ideal for getting used to the new steel loads. The final two drives were much better and Dean had got used to how much more lead that is required with steel on those higher birds. The weight difference of the steel vs lead means the steel shot slows down faster at range, but you’ll see how effective they can be when put in the right place!
