And we opened our doors not only for a specific segment, but for children, to adults, to elderly people. Everyone is welcome here. We really want to emphasize that this museum is for everyone and it is open for everyone, whether it's through the collections that we host, or the events that we host as well." 10. Participants applauding at end of session STORYLINE: The United Arab Emirates' Louvre Abu Dhabi museum hosted around 150 people from all walks of life who were brought together by their love for yoga, participating in a class under the dome of the venue. The event, held on Saturday saw adults and children celebrate International Yoga Day, which will be marked on Wednesday. It was a collaboration between the Indian Embassy in the UAE and the museum. International Yoga Day, adopted by the U.N. in 2015, "has been celebrated worldwide because yoga stands for wellness," said Sunjay Sudhir, India's ambassador to the UAE. The participants in the class included people from across the world, diplomats and even schoolchildren, the ambassador added. Dora Vargas, a certified yoga instructor from Colombia, said the participants were "united by a beautiful practice that is yoga."
