In this inaugural episode of the Sixth Gen Slasher Showdown we begin to rank hack and slash, beat em up, and character action games of the sixth generation. The first 10 minutes of the show go over the ground rules and set up the experience, but skip to about 10:45 if you want to just get to the first game. The first batch of games includes 7 Blades, a Konami published samurai action game, The Bouncer, a Square Enix brawler with far too many cutscenes, and Dynasty Warriors 2, the first non-fighting game entry in Koei's long running franchise.
