Chopin Etude Op.10 No.12 "Revolution" by Liya Pan (NOVA: A Project for Young Ascending Musicians)

Liya Pan is an ascending pianist of 12 years old. She started to learn piano at the age of six from Mr. Edward Han Jiang, an acclaimed pianist and composer. Under the tutelage of Mr. Jiang, Liya has devoted herself in systematic music learning, and she has been continuously reaching new heights in her music journey. In 2019, Liya won the First Place in the 8 year old piano solo category at the 2019 Canadian Music Competition (CMC) with a beautifully polished Chopin Concerto in F Minor. In the same year, she competed at the 2019 Pacific Rim International Music Festival (PRM) and achieved the Bronze Award in the Junior Category Grand Final. As a prize winner, Liya was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. In 2022, Liya was invited to record a demonstration for the latest Piano Certificate Program of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). In the recital held on September 11, Liya performed the complete set of Chopin's Etude op.10.
