This video is intended to introduce a wide audience to God and to the Bible and show our need for salvation. It is a tour through the Bible explaining God's great plan of salvation. It shows the singular cohesiveness of God's word throughout all its pages, despite being written by some 40 writers over a 1,500 year period. It shows how stunning prophecies were fulfilled after thousands of years. It tells how the relationship between mankind and God changed through the ages - beginning as innocent and sinless, then as infants needing guidance, then as youths guided by a strict law, and finally as adults, having God's law written on our hearts. The video explains that the relationship between our human development and God's plan of salvation is not a coincidence - it was planned that way by God so we could more easily see and understand Him. These shadows, as I refer to them, appear throughout the Bible and form a wonderful proof that only our omniscient God could have authored the scriptures. The Bible is a book that seems to have no limit to its depth of wisdom. We should expect that from a book written by our Creator.
