Starling Aviation Boeing 727 M-STAR Taxi & Take Off Brussels Zaventem

Yes hello! Don’t be fooled! Read below! (One week ago) May I introduce you to quite possibly the most beautiful Boeing 727 in the world?! This is 41 year old M-STAR! Adorned in a stunning blue and white livery, this beauty is based in Europe, at Paris Le Bourget to be exact. Ever since I knew of its existence, I really wanted to catch this classic triholer. It's hard though. I really needed some luck because a drive to Paris Le Bourget would take me half a day, and I needed to be sure it was going to be there and moving. While my mates got very lucky with sightings of M-STAR at London Stansted and Cologne, I just didn't manage to even put in a decent effort. But on tuesday evening 15/8 I saw Flightradar showing M-STAR should go to Brussels Zaventem from Nice the next day. This was my chance! So I drove to Brussels and finally caught this beautiful Boeing 727! It's my 8th catch of a 727 and just the third one which I actually saw fly! It was absolutely brilliant! In moderately sunny weather I caught it taxi in to stand nice and close. The take off shot was always going to be a challenge because I knew it would rotate early because of the short flight to Paris Le Bourget. And runway 07R at Brussels is not the easiest to get to the middle of the runway. But I think I did alright! Great sounds from those Pratt & Whitney JT8D's! After such a long chase, I finally can log M-STAR now! Hopefully the curse is broken now and I may be able to catch it again one day! It was amazing to finally see it! I hope you enjoy the video! (Today) Hello again! Rudi from the present here. Since I uploaded the video from M-STAR, the tale took another twist! Onbelievably, M-STAR came to Brussels AGAIN last monday! This time it stayed for a few days. Today it departed to Vilnius and guess who was there to spot this astonishing Boeing 727 for the second time in a week! I can’t believe my luck! Again I got fantastic footage! Today the weather was actually better than last week and I got M-STAR taxi past close by and then a beautiful take off from runway 25R in bright sunshine! Last time I talked about a curse which might be broken. Well… it is definitely broken now! I can’t tell you how happy I am! One of the best catches I’ve ever made! M-STAR, you’re are real star! What I have done is deleted the previous video from M-STAR and made a new one with all the footage I made from this beauty on both occasions that I caught it! I hope you enjoy the video!
