On one of our many trips, we stopped at the village Lofthus in Hardanger to make a drone video. The area is incredibly scenic and well worth a stop. Lofthus is a village and a settlement in Ullensvang municipality in Indre Hardanger in Vestland. The village is located on the east side of Sørfjorden. RV13 runs through the village. Until 2019 Lofthus was considered a conurbation according to Statistics Norway's definition. In the 1880s, Edvard Grieg built his composer's cottage here, which he called Komposten.
