Happy Birthday Kasumi!!! I took my first steps on stage as an idol back in 2021 as Kasumi performing Tokimeki Runners with my former group, now as a soloist I wanted to pay tribute to Kasumi for her important role in my idol journey. TO BE YOURSELF has such a wonderful message behind it as a song, it is about not letting your fears hold you back, about being brave and reaching for the future that you dream of by being yourself. I feel like this is a message that many can feel inspired by, when I decided to learn this song I chose to do it dedicating it a friend of mine that I know needs this message at times. I hope that my MV can bring you all inspiration and that you will all continue to reach towards your dreams as your authentic selves. I am very fortunate to have my video edited and produced by the wonderful and talented StuffbyEllie (@stuffbyellie on Instagram), she did a phenomenal job on this video and I am obsessed with how it turned out she truly channelled the epic magic girl vibes that SIFAS desired.
