We rented a kayak at Sail Honeymoon (in the causeway before Honeymoon Island state park Florida) - we then paddled our way to the far end of Caladesi Island State Park and enjoyed the beautiful mangroves at Caladesi! This was a great time, and our first kayak adventure! (we are kayak newbies!). Caladesi Island is an amazing place to visit, and is home to the Caladesi Marina. Great place to come for Clearwater beach Florida spring break - one of the nicest places for kayaking in Tampa! this has been one of our favorite things to do in our fulltime rv journey.
