We show you how you can hit the redline limiter and have an awesome track day experience that is fast and furious on a budget as we take our 100hp Hyundai Getz to Wakefield Park. We have performed only minimal budget mods to the Hyundai Getz including exhaust, coil-overs, Nankang AR1 semi-slicks and new DBA rotors/pads. The 2006 Hyundai Getz retains the standard 1.4L twin-cam 4 cylinder engine and only delivers approximately 100hp (70kw) in standard guise. We were able to keep up with some Toyota 86s and a Magna VRX as we bounced off 6500rpm in most gears. At the end of the second session, we turned in a 1.22.9 second lap time and that was based on full throttle for 95% of the track.
