In this video I show you how to install Barnett's spring conversion kit along with the 3 plate mod on your Yamaha Warrior 1700. New friction plates should be coated in oil and can even be left to soak for a while before installing. Pro tip from Steve Bumgardner - Steel can gouge aluminum, but copper is softer. You can take a 1/2 inch copper pipe and beat one end flat with a hammer and sharpen like a chisel. Using that to scrape off the old gasket can save you from some damage. You may never gouge the aluminum, but one time will be more than enough.
