By now, having covered the 4 basic facets of light in some depth, and worked through more subtle topics like dynamic range and feathering, we can start to get a bit complex, and today’s video is all about mixing light sources - let’s really muddy the waters by introducing more than one type of light! The course covers everything from the absolute basics of light - it’s direction, quality, quantity and colour, through to different lighting types, mixed light sources, reverse engineering, and includes several real-life lighting scenarios which I’ll walk you through step by step. You need a basic technical knowledge to take advantage of this course, and ideally a camera which will let you shoot in manual mode, but beyond that, you don’t need anything else apart from a willingness to learn!
