Welcome to another episode of #BigTunaDreams, an exciting new series we bring to you with Big Bluefin enthusiast and specialist, Captain Billy Keleman! This is a multi-part series that will explore a dedicated chase for Giant Tuna, a relatively new fishery off the California coast, Trophy/Giant Bluefin Tuna fishing with fish pushing 200-300+ pounds in class! We come across big schools of foaming bluefin tuna here in southern California in the middle of a feeding frenzy and cast a Megabass Trigya Pencil at them in the hopes of connecting with the fish of a lifetime. Challenging ourselves to catching a bluefin tuna over 200 pounds casting at them is the goal. This episode begins where the last ended, with 1 good sized tuna on board we prep the kite and ballon rig to target a true giant when we come across another big spot of boiling bluefin tuna, or foamers as some call them. It's a pleasant interruption to the kite rigging as we hook into the 2nd giant tuna of the day!
