In this video I head out with the Sigma 56mm 1.4 and get some portraits of both Tia & Beau (our 6yr old boxer dog). Lightroom Preset Pack: https://stuartrodwell.co.uk/presets/ We managed to get out in Golden Hour, so I used the sun as a backlight though the trees for the portraits of Tia which seemed to work pretty well. The dog portraits of Beau came out ‘okay’ - but couldn’t quite get her posed the way I had in mind! They say never work with kids or animals right?! Tried to edit the images of Beau with that ‘moody green’ look I’ve seen knocking around on YouTube / Instagram. The images of Tia didn’t need too much work - they looked pretty good straight out of camera - just tried to edit for that warm, vintage kinda feel.
