Garmin T5 Collar GPS Antenna Replacement Tips and Tricks

This video is simply Tips and Tricks I have learned while replacing the GPS antenna on the Garmin Collars. I have shared in the past that I would use my 200W soldering iron and De-soldering gun for some of these repairs. I have since started using Low Melt Solder and Amtech 559 flux to help make this job much easier. I get asked a lot if I repair these for the public so I want to share this information with you since I do not have an actual repair service or business at this time. I simply try to share as we learn together in hopes that it may help someone else with the same issue. I have worked on several of these for a friend over the last few years. The DC30 and I believe the DC50 (if I remember correctly) have the coax quick connector on board for easier GPS antenna replacement. As we have learned the newer T5 and TT15 are soldered directly on the board! it sucks, but its not that hard to do.
