A blocked guttering down pipe caused this customers house to flood.... As the condensate pipe was fitted directly into the bottom of the gutter downpipe the downpipe had become blocked and back fill with water. The pressure of the water in the blocked downpipe pushed the water into the condensate pipe which then ruined the boiler and caused a leak within her home. After fixing the boiler issue the customer needed to get the downpipe unblocked in order for the new condensate pipe to be fitted but this time with a tundish to prevent this happening again.
