[Ep. 950] The people in 's-Hertogenbosch (aka Den Bosch) in the south of the Netherlands were very happy when space in the city that had been designed for cars only in the 1960s, was reconstructed in 2014. But the routes for cycling were only temporary. In 2021 the freed up space was finally redesigned, but the desire to make historic structures visible conflicted with the need for safe infrastructure for walking and cycling. As you can see, "history" won, but now that the consequences of the design become clear people are complaining. This space needs to be better designed for the main cycle route that runs here!
