After hearing that Jeff Beck passed away at the start of this year, I wanted to do a cover that (hopefully) paid respect to him. I loved his guitar playing on the Blow By Blow album, and especially this song. One of the best versions of the song is the 2007/2008 live version from Ronnie Scott's with Tal Wilkenfeld on bass (   • Jeff Beck - Cause We've Ended As Love...  ), and so I based my arrangement on a mix of that and the original 1975 studio recording -- The guitar solo is from the original recording, but I also added an added electric piano solo before the guitar solo with chord changes based on the chords under Tal's bass solo in the Ronnie Scott's live version.
