Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint delivers twice the coverage in a variety of colors and finishes. It can be used on plastic, metal, wicker and more. Before you begin to spray paint, gather your supplies:  Painter's tape  Sandpaper  Drop cloths  A lint-free cloth  Painter's tape  The 2X Spray Paint of your choice If you're going to spray paint a wood object, first use sandpaper to remove any loose paint. Regardless of what you're painting, make sure it's clean and dry before you apply spray paint. Work over a drop cloth to protect the surrounding area. Be sure to work in a well-ventilated space. After shaking the can thoroughly to mix the spray paint, apply the paint while holding the can 10 to 16 inches away from the object. Spray light coats of paint in a back-and-forth motion, overlapping each line of paint. 2X Ultra Cover dries to the touch in under 20 minutes. Apply additional coats of spray paint within an hour or after 48 hours for best results, then let the final coat of paint fully dry for 24 hours.
