CORNWALL WALK - Rame Head

A circular walk around Rame Head, filmed in March 2019 in the middle of Storm Gareth! Rame Head is located on the south east coast of Cornwall near Kingsand & Cawsand, close to the border between Devon and Cornwall. The Rame Peninsula is often referred to as the "Forgotten Corner" of Cornwall, and whilst it is quieter and less populated than other places, it is definitely one of the loveliest parts of the county. This short 2.5 mile walk starts at the Rame Head car park next to the National Coastwatch Station. We walk along the South West Coast path with dramatic views towards Plymouth Sound in the distance. We visit the historic 13th century Rame Church, and complete our walk with a visit to the medieval St Michael's chapel which is situated at the top of the imposing headland.
