About the topic: Align the topic to the design system challenges posed by participating companies. The topic would be related to design systems (variables, tokens, organization, naming conventions, documentation, strategy, components, cross-team collaboration, etc...) Background of our speaker: Amy is a Seattle-based Senior Product Designer, design systems nerd & coffee lover. I'm experienced in building & scaling Design Systems across nonprofits, startups, agencies & enterprise level companies in e-commerce & SaaS. I am currently shaping the Mindful Design System in the healthcare / health tech SaaS space at Therapy Brands. In my off hours, I enjoy giving back to the design community - I serve as the Mentor Advocate Team Lead at IterateUX, and provide 1:1 UX & Product Design mentorship through the iMentorship Program at University of Washington's Information School, as well as on the Design Buddies, Mentoring Club & Topmate platforms, and frequently lead UX design workshops in collaboration with community initiatives, design challenges & hackathons.
